October 2025 Visa Bulleting and Filing v. Final Action Dates

The October 2025 visa bulletin was released this past Friday, September 12. There were not as big as movements as we had hoped in the categories. The good news is that filing dates did jump a bit for many employment categories and USCIS will allow adjustment of status applicants to use the filing dates come October, something that they have not allowed for many months. I analyze the October visa bulletin and I explain the important difference between final action dates and filing dates in the video below.
