USCIS Fee Increases go into place on April 1, 2024
USCIS Fee increases will go into effect on April 1, 2024. Most immigration filings with UCSIS are increasing, though a few filings remain unchanged (or have slight decreases in fees).
If you have an immigration or petition that you are working on, we encourage you to file before April 1. Also of note, work permission (I-765) and travel permission (I-131) will no longer be included in the filing fee of the I-485 (adjustment of status). Therefore, the cost for one-step marriage applications, one-step parent applications (a U.S. citizen sponsoring a parent), concurrent employment applications (I-140/I-485) applications and all other types of adjustment of status applications will rise substantially.
The premium processing fee has already been raised to $2805 from $2500, which is exorbitantly high IMHO but our reality now for cases eligible for premium processing.
